Born on February 17, 1935 in Carrboro, North Carolina, Whammy Douglas (Charles William Douglas) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career. Douglas broke into the bigs on July 29, 1957 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
