Western Wrestling Conference
The Western Wrestling Conference is a Division I, wrestling-only conference which serves as a championship qualifier to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
Formed out of the former West Region with existing members Air Force, Northern Iowa, and Wyoming, and the move of three Division II members to full Division I status, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado and South Dakota State, the six programs became charter members of the WWC. Provisional Division I member Utah Valley becomes eligible for post-season competition during the 2009-10 season.
