West Coast Bias was started in the Fall of 2007 in order for Joey Kaufman to promote West Coast sports while fighting ESPN's East Coast Bias. "The whole idea for WCB was to launch a sports blog where you could avoid all of the senseless New York and Boston sports talk. It gets tiring to hear about Roger Clemens's retirement and Alex Rodriguez's contract for the millionth time"
