Born on August 13, 1913 in Vanndale, Arkansas, Wes Flowers (Charles Wesley Flowers) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 2 year career. Flowers broke into the bigs on August 8, 1940 with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
