Wendell Tucker (Wendell Edward Tucker) was born on September 4, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Ben Franklin (Philadelphia, PA), Tucker attended South Carolina State University. Tucker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1969 was Wendell Tucker's best year, as he hauled in 38 receptions, had 629 receiving yards and caught 7 TD passes.
