Welcome Back, Kenny!

I never thought my team trading for a 40-year-old player would make me want to sing and make t-shirts like J.D. on Scrubs, but I am absolutely stoked about the Cleveland Indians trade for Kenny Lofton. I mean, why not? Let's look at the comparisons:
1. Kenny Lofton is a respected veteran like Dr. Perry Cox.
2. Kenny easily replaces "Kotter" much like "Coxer.
3. Lofton's coming back to some place that a lot of people would refer to a "hell hole" as Perry calls the hospital in the clip.
4. I'm an emotional fool about little things when it comes to the Indians.
So let's get out the hot iron and press us some shirts!
I've been saying for a few years that the Tribe needed to add a seasoned vet to the mix to balance out all the young talent. What better way then to add someone who's not only been to the Series, but done it with the Tribe?
Throw in the fact that the Indians needed a left-handed bat and some speed (even 40-year-old speed) and it's a perfect fit. Especially when they only had to give up a single A player that they got by trading away another top-of-(if not over)-the-hill guy.
I think Lofton is just the boost the Tribe needed and will spark the team into a big second half and a long playoff run.
Welcome back, Kenny!
