Wayne Patrick (Wayne Allen Patrick) was born on September 1, 1946 in Gainesville, Florida. After going to high school at Lincoln (Gainesville, FL), Patrick attended the University of Louisville. Patrick made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Patrick also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time.

Most people believe that 1969 was Wayne Patrick's best year, as he hauled in 35 receptions.
