Wayne Mulligan (Wayne Eugene Mulligan) was born on May 5, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at Calvert Hall (Towson, MD), Mulligan attended Clemson University. Mulligan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Jets over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Wayne Mulligan's best year.
