Wayne Moore (Solomon Wayne Moore) was born on August 17, 1945 in Beaumont, Texas. After going to high school at Charlton-Pollard (Beaumont, TX), Moore attended Lamar University. Moore made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Wayne Moore's best year.
