Wayne Millner (Wayne Vernal Millner) was born on January 31, 1913 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. After going to high school at DeVitt Prep, Malvern Prep and Salem (MA), Millner attended the University of Notre Dame. Millner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Boston Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins and Boston Redskins over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1939 was Wayne Millner's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
