Wayne Mcclure (Wayne Leroy McClure) was born on July 2, 1946 in Marysville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Hattiesburg (MS), Mcclure attended the University of Mississippi. Mcclure made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals the entire time. Mcclure also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals the entire time.

Most people believe that 1968 was Wayne Mcclure's best year.
