Born on February 13, 1907 in Speed, Indiana, Wayne LaMaster (Noble Wayne LaMaster) played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year career. LaMaster broke into the bigs on April 19, 1937 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 5.31 ERA in 220.1 innings pitched in 1937, his rookie year.
