Wayne Hawkins (Wayne Allen Hawkins) was born on June 17, 1938 in Fort Peck, Montana. After going to high school at Shasta Union (Redding, CA), Hawkins attended the University of Pacific. Hawkins made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Wayne Hawkins's best year.
