Wayne Gift (Leland Wayne Gift) was born on October 21, 1915 in Medina, Ohio. After going to high school at McKinley (Canton, OH), Gift attended Purdue University. Gift made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 1 year career.
