Wayne Garland

Born on October 26, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee, Wayne Garland (Marcus Wayne Garland) played for the Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 9 year career. Garland broke into the bigs on September 13, 1973 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 2.97 ERA in 91 innings pitched in 1974, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Wayne Garland's best season was 1976, when he posted a 2.67 ERA, won 20 games and struck out 113 batters.
