Wayne Capers (Wayne Erwin Capers) was born on May 17, 1961 in Miami, Florida. After going to high school at South (Miami, FL), Capers attended the University of Kansas. Capers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Wayne Capers's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
