Water Cooler:NHL 2009 Entry draft

Things get going tonight and expect it to be a busy busy day. We still have absolutely no clue who the Isle's will take and the Bruins have offered up Kessel to the Leafs for Kaberle and their #7 pick. A few big names are going to be moved for sure today so discuss.....

If I am Garth Snow then I take Tavares. If that occurs I have some rumblings that Tampa may trade down. I for one think that is the wrong move. Hedman to Tampa seems like a good fit.

Thats right Gunny of course you take Tavares, these fricking scouts have just been watching him for too long are nit picking him. 4 years of major junior is an eternity in the hockey scouting world, Tavares is going to be a Crosby and if the Isles ever want to win a game they better smarten up!

I also heard a rumor that the Islanders are going to offer contracts to the Sedins, not a very reliable source that one.

I could see Florida trading the rights to Bouwmeester for something like a third round pick, the Oilers make sense for Jay.

I wish I could care about the NHL draft as a wild fan, but I'm too depressed by the rumors that Gaborik's already bought a house in vancouver and has no intent on staying in minnesota. At least the Wolves are on the right track. VIVA L'ESPAGNA !!!! RUBIOOOOOOOO !!

His dad says Rubio may stay in Spain for a little longer before going to the T'Wolves.

Mwhahahahaha. Gaborik is ours. And if he stays healthy you can kiss the division goodbye before it starts....even with Vigneault as our coach.

yeah im aware of the rubio situation (im writing an article right now that discusses it). Anyways, if Gaborik leaves, I'm done watching the Wild for a while. If they're going to let Demitra, Rolston, and Gaborik walk away, why bother supporting them?

If the Bruins get a #7 overall and Kaberle for Kessel, I'll be thrilled. But that deal's too good to be true.
