Warren Koegel (Warren DeWitt Koegel) was born on November 1, 1949 in Mineola, New York. After going to high school at Seaford (NY), Koegel attended Pennsylvania State University. Koegel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the New York Jets, St. Louis Cardinals and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 3 year career.
