Ward Meese (Ward King Meese) was born on July 28, 1898. After going to high school at Huntington (IN), Meese attended Wabash College. Meese made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Hammond Pros, St. Louis All-Stars and Milwaukee Badgers over the course of his 4 year career.
