Walter Stephenson (Walter McQueen Stephenson) was born on March 27, 1911 in Saluda, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 29, 1935 for the Chicago Cubs. Stephenson played for the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career.
