Walter Prince (Walter Farr Prince) was born on May 9, 1861 in Amherst, New Hampshire. He made his Major League debut on August 7, 1883 for the Louisville Colonels. In 1884, his rookie year, he hit .209 with 1 home run and 1 RBI. Prince played for the Louisville Colonels, Washington Nationals and Detroit Wolverines over the course of his 2 year career.
