Walter Edward Morris

Born on December 7, 1899 in Foshee, Alabama, Ed Morris (Walter Edward Morris) played for the Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 5 year career. Morris broke into the bigs on August 5, 1922 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 3.53 ERA in 257.2 innings pitched in 1928, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Ed Morris's best season was 1928, when he posted a 3.53 ERA, won 19 games and struck out 104 batters.
