Walter Briggs (Walter Robert Briggs) was born on August 6, 1965 in Elmira, New York. After going to high school at Hackensack (NJ), Briggs attended Montclair State University. Briggs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
