Walt Yowarsky (Walter Yowarsky) was born on May 10, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Lincoln (Cleveland, OH), Yowarsky attended the University of Kentucky. Yowarsky made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the New York Giants, Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1951 was Walt Yowarsky's best year.
