Walt Weiss (Walter William Weiss) was born on November 28, 1963 in Tuxedo, New York. He made his Major League debut on July 12, 1987 for the Oakland Athletics. In 1988, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 3 home runs and 39 RBI. Weiss played for the Oakland Athletics, Florida Marlins, Colorado Rockies and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that Walt Weiss's best season was 1996, when he hit for a .282 average.
