Walt Tragesser (Walter Joseph Tragesser) was born on June 14, 1887 in Lafayette, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on July 30, 1913 for the Boston Braves. In 1917, his rookie year, he hit .222 with 0 home runs and 25 RBI. Tragesser played for the Boston Braves and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 7 year career.
