Walt Suggs (William Walter Suggs) was born on May 15, 1939 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After going to high school at Forrest County (MS), Suggs attended Mississippi State University. Suggs made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Houston Oilers. He played in the AFL for 8 years, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time. Suggs also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time.
