Walt Schlinkman

Walt Schlinkman (Walter Gaye Schlinkman) was born on May 2, 1922 in Channing, Texas. After going to high school at Dumas (TX), Schlinkman attended Texas Technical University. Schlinkman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Walt Schlinkman's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs.
