Walt May (Walter Orel May) was born on February 27, 1894 in Taylorsville, Illinois. After going to high school at Taylorsville (IL), May attended none. May made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Decatur Staleys. He played for the Decatur Staleys for his entire 1 year career.
