Walt Lerian (Walter Irvin Lerian) was born on February 10, 1903 in Baltimore, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1928 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1928, his rookie year, he hit .272 with 2 home runs and 25 RBI. Lerian played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 2 year career.
