Walt Jenkins (Walter B. Jenkins) was born on December 9, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Miller (Detroit, MI), Jenkins attended Wayne State University. Jenkins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
