Walt Jean (Walter L. Jean) was born on January 2, 1898 in Chillicothe, Ohio. After going to high school at Chillicothe (OH), Jean attended Bethany College, Heidelberg College and Tiffin University. Jean made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Akron Pros. He played for the Green Bay Packers, Akron Pros, Pottsville Maroons and Milwaukee Badgers over the course of his 6 year career.
