Walt Dickson

Born on December 3, 1878 in New Summerfield, Texas, Walt Dickson (Walter Raleigh Dickson) played for the New York Giants, Boston Braves and Pittsburgh Rebels over the course of his 5 year career. Dickson broke into the bigs on April 26, 1910 with the New York Giants, and put up a 3.86 ERA in 189 innings pitched in 1912, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Walt Dickson's best season was 1914, when he posted a 3.16 ERA and struck out 63 batters.
