Walt DeGree (Walter Bernard DeGree) was born on July 7, 1898 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. DeGree attended the University of Notre Dame. DeGree made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Detroit Tigers. He played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 1 year career.
