Walt Corey (Walter Martin Corey) was born on May 9, 1938 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Derry Township (PA), Corey attended the University of Miami. Corey made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Dallas Texans. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Texans over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Walt Corey's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
