Walt Cassidy (Walter E. Cassidy) was born on December 16, 1899. After going to high school at Morrison R. Waite (Toledo, OH), Cassidy attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Cassidy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Kenosha Maroons. He played for the Kenosha Maroons for his entire 1 year career.
