Walt Brewster (Walter Southgate Brewster) was born on August 16, 1907 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Greenbriar Military Academy (Lewisburg, WV), Brewster attended West Virginia University. Brewster made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Buffalo Bisons. He played for the Buffalo Bisons for his entire 1 year career.
