Born on July 12, 1965 in Glendale, California, Wally Ritchie (Wallace Reid Ritchie) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 4 year career. Ritchie broke into the bigs on May 1, 1987 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 3.75 ERA in 62.1 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Wally Ritchie's best season was 1987, when he posted a 3.75 ERA.
