Wally O'Neill (Richard Wallace O'Neill) was born on March 27, 1899 in , MI. After going to high school at Cathederal (Duluth, MN), O'Neill attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior. O'Neill made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Duluth Kelleys. He played for the Duluth Kelleys for his entire 1 year career.
