Wally Mattick (Walter Joseph Mattick) was born on March 12, 1887 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1912 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1912, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 1 home run and 35 RBI. Mattick played for the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 3 year career.
