Wally Kersten (Wallace Todd Kersten) was born on December 8, 1959 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), Kersten attended Normandale Community College and the University of Minnesota. Kersten made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 1 year career.
