Wally Judnich

Wally Judnich (Walter Franklin Judnich) was born on January 24, 1916 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1940 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1940, his rookie year, he hit .303 with 24 home runs and 89 RBI. Judnich played for the St. Louis Browns, Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Wally Judnich's best season was 1940, when he slugged 24 home runs, hit for a .303 average and knocked in 89 runs.
