Wally Hebert

Born on August 21, 1907 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Wally Hebert (Wallace Andrew Hebert) played for the St. Louis Browns and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 4 year career. Hebert broke into the bigs on May 1, 1931 with the St. Louis Browns, and put up a 5.07 ERA in 103 innings pitched in 1931, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Wally Hebert's best season was 1943, when he posted a 2.98 ERA and won 10 games.
