Dearest friends,
After a long and arduous vision quest, I have come out of the woods with news for sports fans in the midwest. Long since the NFL draft, my nights have been spent in solitude, eating peyote, sweating in front of a blazing fire. My days were filled with wandering, although some days I'm not sure that I left my mud-hut.
But I will not test your patience with the tales of my spiritual journey. I will tell you that the forest spirits are in complete harmony with the river spirits and the underworld with the creator, Wakan Tanka. This is what was whispered in my ear just before my mind sprung forth from it's slumber:
The NFC North will appear as such at season's end, when the snow gathers and the salmon freeze in the streams:
1. BEARS 2. VIKINGS 3. LIONS 4. PACKERS
I regret that I was unable to finish my quest and have all of the rankings for each division, but I must purchase more peyote. Until next time, may your corn harvest be great and your wives be fertile.
