Wade Wilson (Charles Wade Wilson) was born on February 1, 1959 in Commerce, Texas. After going to high school at Commerce (TX), Wilson attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Commerce. Wilson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 17 year career.

Most people believe that 1988 was Wade Wilson's best year, as he threw for 2746 yards, tossed 15 TDs and put up a 91.5 passer rating.
