Wade Phillips, Dave Campo. Same guy?

time, when Dave Campo was coaching the Cowboys, I remember watching a game. At the end of the game, as customary now for the NFL, the coaches and the players come together in a homosexual embrace of whispering sweet nothings into each others ears, hugging, and patting bottoms. Coaches usually stick to the sweet nothings, a handshake and a hug. Dave Campo must have been homophobic, because he refused to shake the hand of the winning coach, giving him a grumpy huffy look of a 5 year old. I don't remember who the winning coach was, pick any coach, they all beat Campo.
Larry Brown Sports wrote today about how John Lynch is bitching about the pre-season. I agree with John, and I agree with Larry - pre-season football isn't when you should roll out the red carpet for performance. The first stringers aren't even there to play, they're just there to shake off the rust, it's the third team players that need to put forth the effort. Game planning, elaborate blitz packages, and crazy trick offensive plays against the first team is liable to get someone hurt.
So, why am I rehashing what he already said? Well, because this is just another tally as to why the Cowboys aren't going anywhere this year. This is another line to the resume of one Wade Phillips and his lack for head coaching acumen. Just like Martz and Turner, this is a guy that should be neither seen nor heard in the press conference. He's a joke on the football field as a head coach, and he's probably taking advice from another sore loser about how to win with Jerry Jones.
