WEEK 6 PREVIEW BY THE KOMMISH!!

WEEK 6 EXPECTATIONS

So, still struggling on who to start or who to bet on??? Welcome to the Kommish’s take, WEEK 6!

Rams vs. Ravens: The Ravens continue to hold up the running game and with Gus at the helm, last week he proved almost worthy of a fantasy start. The Ravens will actually look to get their running game going late in this one as they will probably take the Rams by 9.

Vikings vs. Bears: Vikings are 0-4 in the last visits to Chi town. Start the Bears and your wide outs. And if the game gets out of hand Cedric Benson will get 100+yrds. 2td’s

Miami vs Browns: Good Lord – Anderson could go seriously OFF in this game. If you thought 5 td’s against Cinncy in week 2 – this could get out of hand and he is capable of 7-8 td’s if Miami’s secondary falls asleep. Lemmon is Dawg meat. Ronnie Brown could be the only positive thing on Miami’s option, but when they fall behind, Ronnie wont be able to help.

Washington vs GB: GAME OF THE WEEK (#1) – This will be an OUTSTANDING game. I expect somewhere in the 20’s for each team and a late field goal – (without the “timeout” rule in effect). Crosby kicks his way for GB to the victory.

Houston vs Jags: The Jags are on a roll and Taylor/Drew combo could be too much for Houston. And don’t expect Houston to have a running game for this one – the Jags are one of the top run defenses. Schaub will have to pass his way to a victory – IF he can. I see the Jags pulling this one out in a nailbitter.

Cinncy vs KC – START LARRY JOHNSON – He’ll see plenty of yards this week. Hell, this could be a shootout game with both teams lousy defenses. Start everybody!!! The winner is the one with the ball at the end guys – coin flip here.

Philly & the Jets – Philly has had a week to prepare – and the Jets are on a small roll…..barely losing to the NYG. The Jets could give Philly more than they can handle but Philly will get a ton of yards just like the Giants did. Philly stomps em by 8.

Tenn vs TB – YIKES – coin flip here. TB at home is good, but did the Titans do their homework on their bye week?? Vince Young needs to step up in this game to prove he can QB a team. He needs more yardage. Fantasy owners are not happy and I don’t blame em. TB’s running game is obsolete (watch, now the guy will run for 180yrds since I said that) But Tenn will lean more I feel to Mr. White in this one. They may look to pound the football, kinda like the Steelers.

Carolina vs Arizona – GAME OF THE WEEK (#2) VINNY IS BACK!!! Holy Toledo, I cant believe it. And he’s going against Warner. This should be an actual exciting game. Yeah, I know you’re saying “Kommish are u nuts?” Yes, I am. Trust me on this one. This game could be the best NOT watched game. Fantasy wise it may be an average to low scoring game – but really exciting to watch. I like games like this. IF Vinny absorbs the playbook with osmosis – Carolina could sneak this one. But Warner can put up his own numbers and win this at home. Sorry guys – coin flip it and have fun.

NE vs Dallas: GAME OF THE WEEK (#3) Yeah, yeah I know, 3 games? But come on….these are gonna be good. This one of course EVERYBODY is talking about. 81 vs 81 Brady and his weapons vs Romo with his. Now, after Romo’s screwup on Monday – it ALMOST could be said that they lost, but they didn’t thanks to Folk’s 2 unofficial game winning field goals. SO – if you win on Monday you lose on Sunday. The Pats will win this one, Brady has more weapons at WR than Romo.

Oakland vs. Chargers: LT finally gets his shot! 100+yrds and 3 tds (I hope). The Raiders start a shootout though and this should be a great fantasy matchup. Chargers by 10.

NO vs Seattle: Poor NO’s. 2 Weeks off and they blow it against Carolina. Bush had the winning TD in his hands and he dropped it. What a poor performance. If you think that was bad enough, Reggie’s off the field issues are not helping. Expect NO issues to continue and this being the worst Sunday night game so far this year. With neither teams offense producing a lot, or the defenses playing horribly. I’m not even gonna pick a winner here.

NYG vs. ATL: Are you kidding me? Joey gets Monday Night Football airtime? Oh – wait it could be Leftwich. Either way, Manning is the star
