Vince Mccarthy (Vincent John McCarthy) was born on November 3, 1899 in , IL. After going to high school at Rock Island (IL), Mccarthy attended St. Viator College. Mccarthy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Rock Island Independents. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Rock Island Independents the entire time. Mccarthy also played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Rock Island Independents the entire time.
