Vince DiMaggio (Vincent Paul DiMaggio) was born on September 6, 1912 in Martinez, California. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1937 for the Boston Braves. In 1937, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 13 home runs and 69 RBI. DiMaggio played for the Boston Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Giants over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Vince DiMaggio's best season was 1941, when he slugged 21 home runs and knocked in 100 runs.
