Vince Coleman (Vincent Maurice Coleman) was born on September 22, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1985 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .267 with 1 home run and 40 RBI. Coleman played for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Vince Coleman's best season was 1987, when he stole 109 bases and hit for a .289 average.
